Blogging for the King
Why blog?
- Deep daily, conversations with the king is a highlight of my life. As a teacher of His word He has called me to facilitate those conversations with others.
- These conversations will focus on simple truths from the word with a lens to refresh and stir up our hearts for a deeper walk with the King.
- Do you want to dig deeper in Biblical truths? Then this blog is for you.
- The Word of God is not antiquated, but alive and sharper than a two-edged sword piercing our hearts and minds. Awakening us to a deeper walk with our King.
I have recently retired after more than twenty-years as a teacher. When the Holy Spirit spoke to me about moving on He said to teach the Bible. “Breakfast with the King” blog is an adventure that has been incubated and growing for awhile. The Lord spoke to me about writing a blog that would encourage and challenge growth in others. I believe that this eventually will be a daily blog. However, I am learning about blogging and will develop blogs as I grow in understanding this format.
The quote from C.S. Lewis that I started this post with says it is never too late to set goals and to dream. The Holy Spirit says to dream and to Dream Big! As we discover the word of God together going deeper with Him we will discover new journeys, adventures, and enterprises that will increase our relationship with Him and with others.
